The time is nigh so let's get our Mayflower IPA on and check out some doodles over draughts. I swear it will be good times. (Drawings,by the way, make excellent X-Mas/Channukah gifts. Just sayin'.)

HAVE MAT WILL TRAVEL

Oh boy am I not good at cutting mats. And now I have a little over a week to successfully mat 19 pieces for the big opening. Here's to hoping I don't open an artery. Also, adequately pricing the pieces is proving to be a particularly odd endeavor.

"This Will Not Be Pretty" Opening Wednesday Nov. 3rd at 9pm

"This Will Not Be Pretty", a collection of some recent drawings will be shown at the Other Side Cafe from Nov. 1st - Nov. 30th. An opening of sorts will be held on Wednesday, November 3rd from 9pm til 1am.
And by opening I mean I will be there drinking Allagash.

I can't help but think it's a little weird when people make overly self-flattering portraits of themselves. But then it's not entirely un-weird to go the other route and make yourself look like a bloated blonde mess from 30's movie arcana.

THE END IS NEAR-ISH

I've been working on a graphic novel since sometime in late 2002/early 2003 (albeit very sporadically) and now, finally, the end is in sight. Probably a month left of work to go. At 86 pages and counting, it will feel good to finally move onto the next project once this beast is put to rest. I just hope that it makes sense and has a somewhat coherent storyline.
